COMMUNITY ART PROJECT PRICE HILL INCLINE RUN
This community art project began as a neighborhood request for public art along Maryland Avenue—a 550-foot stretch now known as Incline Run that connects Lower and East Price Hill. Once a neglected passageway, it has since been transformed into a wooded path for pedestrians and bicyclists.
In 2020, Price Hill Will facilitated meetings with residents to reimagine the space and develop ideas that would bring new life to the area. That’s where I come in—With support from the Keep Cincinnati Beautiful Safe and Clean Neighborhood Fund, I designed and created a mosaic planter reflecting the diverse cultural backgrounds that make up our community.
GAME OF THE GOOSE
Inspired by Game of the Goose, the first commercial board game born in Italy in the 16th-century, my permanent mosaic installation will bring this historic game of chance to West Price Hill, Cincinnati.
Price Hill’s interactive Game of the Goose will span five miles through Dunham Recreation Complex and Rapid Run Park, turning the neighborhood into a giant, walkable game board. Players can complete the course entirely on foot or travel between parks by car.
The game will feature four zones—Play, History, Fitness, and Nature—each designed to educate along the way. My hope is that it brings the community together, while encouraging people to explore the facilities at Dunham Recreation Center, learn more about Cincinnati’s rich history, and appreciate the natural beauty our city has to offer.

ABOUT ME
I’m a Cincinnati-based mosaic artist passionate about creating work that strengthens community bonds. I first began exploring mosaics in 1999, starting a creative journey that has now spanned more than 25 years.
In 2021, I took on mosaic work full-time through a community art initiative that aimed to reinvigorate a street connecting the Lower and East Price Hill neighborhoods. After its completion in 2022, I began developing my next project: an interactive version of Game of the Goose, to be installed at both Dunham Recreation Complex and Rapid Run Park. This work is currently in progress.
My hope is that my mosaics serve as a reminder of the beauty of coming together :)
